It all started when…
Chaiyo Church began in 2012 when half the church members of Cheung Doi Church volunteered to begin a new church project in a developing area of Chiang Mai. Since then, with Cheung Doi’s support and help, Chaiyo has collected money little by little for the construction of a church building. In the meantime, Chaiyo has had its ups and downs, and members have come and gone. Currently, there are five core families committed to growing the church, plus other churchgoers. Chaiyo is a truly unique Thai church as the core families are raising their children in Christian homes and encouraging the same environment to others. It is the family dynamic that has blessed the church the most, and we believe it will change the most lives for Jesus in Thailand in the long run.
